Specifications :

Metal: Castings shall conform to ASTM A48 Class 35 (35,000 psi). Test bars are poured, recorded, and archived daily to ensure compliance with these standards.

Machining and Grinding: The bearing surfaces of manholes used in traffic conditions are machined to prevent rocking. Castings are cleaned by shotblasting and rough surfaces are hand ground. All component parts are pre-assemebled to insure proper fit.
